Hello!

I’m Kai Kopitzke—a designer driven by curiosity, creativity, and a love for problem-solving. My journey into design has been shaped by a diverse array of experiences and passions that fuel my work every day.

Growing up exploring the outdoors, I developed an eye for detail as a landscape photographer, a knack for form as a potter, and a sense of adventure that led me to ski slopes and corners of the world. These experiences taught me to see beauty in the unexpected and approach challenges with an open mind.

Over the past six years, I’ve honed my design skills across industries, creating architectural wall paneling, custom lighting, Audio DACs, and product photography for digital platforms. Working closely with clients and teams, I’ve learned to transform ideas into tangible results—from the first concept sketch to the final manufacturing phase.

With a certification in UX design from Harness Projects, I’ve expanded my expertise to include user-centered design. I also bring technical proficiency in tools like Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and Figma, combined with hands-on experience in 3D printing, CNC routing, and laser cutting.

At my core, I’m a maker. Whether it’s experimenting with new media, mastering an old photographic technique, or learning a cutting-edge manufacturing method, I’m always pushing to grow creatively. I thrive on collaboration and take pride in crafting thoughtful, functional designs that elevate experiences. Let’s create something exceptional together!
